Amy created Walker Wellness Retreats due to her passion for adventure, the outdoors, traveling, and helping others.
Amy is a graduate from the University of Utah with her Master's Degree in International Social Work. She has worked as an International English teacher and has traveled to over 50 countries and counting. Amy has what some call a "sixth sense" for finding excellent travel deals and wanted to utilize that skill to create memorable experiences for others both domestically and internationally. She has experienced every type of group travel: some too large, some too chaotic, some groups were catered to the younger crowds, while others catered to a much older group.
Amy wanted to create a travel experience that was small and personalized for anyone wishing to come and experience the world off the beaten path, no matter your age or background. There will be no 50 passenger tour buses that move too quickly from one place to another while listening to a tour guide on a headset. Amy wanted to create a unique, small group travel experience that takes the stress and hassle out of planning a vacation, so all you have to do is show up and be ready to experience the world!
With Amy's skills of being detail-oriented, street smart, organized, and travel savvy, you are in good hands as you travel the globe with Walker Wellness Retreats.
Amy resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband, Brian.
